About
Born from the Death Knight Valadin and the Dragon Aspect of Life Alexstrasza, Valastrasz lives his life for the protection of those he loves and to have fun. Most of the time he prefers to stay in a mortal form out of convenience, but he will return to his draconic form in moments of high emotion or just to stretch his wings. Day or night, he will find time to fly about, just to feel the wind over his scales.He found himself falling for, and eventually marrying, a Miqo'te Sorceress named Y'shtola Rhul. Before the Final Days, the two got married and currently have one child, a son named Zalastrasz, then a year later they had a daughter, Y'talistraza or Y'tali for short. In time, the married couple added a third to their partnership, the Dotharl leader Sadu Heavensflame. Now he spends his days traveling and protecting his family as Y'shtola does research, though his usual flirty attitude still remains, as evident by his occasional visit to the Honeybee Inn to strip and perform for the crowds. He currently has a home in a wide open field outside of the Azim Steppe that has enough space for him to lounge about in his draconic form if he wanted. The house also has a furnace where he can work to maintain his armor and weapons that has become a treasure over the course of his journey.Note: Any interactions with other player characters are usually considered non-canon
Work
Valastrasz alternates between being an adventurer and posing for money, though he does have fun with it usually. When it comes to combat, he prefers to take up the katana as a Samurai, or harness his father's teachings and be a Dark Knight. Only on rare occasions does he utilize his mother's talents at healing, as magic isn't his strongest trait. Recently, he has taken up bartending as a side gig at night some times, when he isn't posing nude or working on his combat skills.
Combat: He prefers to be in close range with rapid strikes with his sword, spending most mornings training to keep up his skills and his appearance.
Magic: He is pretty bad at magic, other than healing. He once was proud of casting Flare, much to his wife's humor. He has been slowly getting better, now that he has both Y'shtola and Sadu to help teach him.
Crafting/Gathering: He found himself drawn to the Goldsmiths, both to create his own jewelry, but he also found himself being friends with the Manderville family. Otherwise, he also has mastered Blacksmithing/Armorsmithing to maintain his armor and weapons, as well as being a skilled chef. It is to the point that he has taken over cooking for his family, which he is happy to do.
Other Talents: Besides his natural draconic abilities, he enjoys to dance. He tends to be a bit flirtatious, especially when it is time for him to perform, and he knows he is seen as attractive.
Physical Appearance: When in a humanoid appearance, Valastrasz is around 7ft tall. His red hair has been altered to be shorter but still usually swept back and out of the way. Now that he is more comfortable in trusting others, he has started showing off more of his draconic identity, be it his draconic eyes or his scales showing more of the blood red hue that he normally has. However, when entering a new area he is unfamiliar with, he does cover his nature up, just because he doesn't want people to assume the worst.
Because of him training almost every day, his body has become very muscular with very little fat on him. Yet because he is very hot blooded, his wives tend to use him like a heater to stay warm any time it starts to get cold out. Clothing wise, he has taken on wearing a rendition of Clive Rosfield's outfit, as the two men bonded during Clive's unexpected visit to Eorzea. His sword has now become part of his own aether, where he can summon an obsidian blade that is engulfed in fire to his hand (for visual reference, see Abyssos Blade). However, when he gets serious or something truly angers him, he embraces the Dark Knight training his father put him through and adopts the Executioner armor, a spiky black armor with a sharp metal crown and a veil covering his face.
For his draconic appearance, he is currently tall enough, from tip of his horns to his feet, to look at Midgardsormr in the eyes at Silvertear Lake. His horns are swept back upon his head and he has spiked ridges traveling from the back of his neck to his tail where it ends in a spikey club-like tip. He is still growing, and lately while in this form he has a mini Bahamut that flutters nearby to help guide him in the ways of the dragons of Etheryis.
